We are looking for outgoing individuals who like the outdoors and playing in the snow. No skiing or riding experience is necessary (we are really good at teaching you to ski and ride!) Are you an outdoorsy person who has always wanted to learn to ski and ride? This could be your chance!  Come work with us, let our talented trainers and coaches turn you into an amazing skier or rider and earn a decent wage doing it.

Think you are to busy? We pride ourselves on accommodating coach’s time restraints. Let us build a schedule that works for you. Whether you are a high school or college student, parent, young professional, seasoned veteran, grandparent or a park rat we can build a schedule that fits your availability.

Our minimum season commitment is 50 hours of teaching. From most coaches we need and want a lot more. Our top coaches will teach more than 400 hours!

Powder Ridge uses Terrain Based Learning (we shape the snow in our beginner area) to give novice level skiers and riders high level sensations in a safe fun atmosphere.

Compensation starts at $13 per hour for teaching

Snowmaking is cold, wet work often done overnight during the coldest hours of the early morning. The snowmaking position involves routinely walking down steep and snow covered trails to check on, maintain and adjust snowmaking equipment as needed. Snowmakers will need to be available when it’s cold and may be asked to work lengthy shifts when weather conditions are favorable for snowmaking.

Job Responsibilities

  • Setting up and tearing down snow guns
  • Monitoring and adjusting the guns throughout the snowmaking operation
  • Carrying, connecting, pressurizing, draining, rolling and storing lengths of hose

Job Qualifications

  • Must be committed to providing a quality product for guests to enjoy, as well as committed to performing job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Must be able to ride a chair lift and not be afraid of heights.
  • Must be able to carry loads in excess of 50lbs and walk all over the mountain in extreme conditions.
  • Minimum age requirement: 18-years-old.

Snow Groomers are responsible for efficiently producing a safe and consistent product in varying weather conditions. Must be flexible with schedule and may be asked to work lengthy shifts on short notice.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive the groomer safely
  • Till the snow
  • Push snow to areas where coverage is needed
  • Make sure that job is done by opening
  • Keep log of gas usage

Job Qualifications

  • Experienced with heavy equipment preferred.
  • Must be 18 with a valid driver’s license
  • Must be flexible with hours (weekends and holidays). • Must be capable of spending extended periods of time in a grooming machine

Lift operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our chair lifts as well as providing friendly and helpful service to our guests.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and must be friendly and courteous at all times
  • Accurately complete all shift required paperwork
  • Knowledge of loading and unloading procedures for all lifts
  • Assist guests as they load and unload chairlift
  • Understand the mechanical operating aspects of the chairlift and detect and troubleshoot issues
  • Be able to visually inspect the cables and chairs for any wear or damage
  • Maintain loading and unloading ramps ensuring sufficient snow at proper depths and ensure they are properly groomed.
  • Instruct loitering guests away from gate area
  • Understands the functions and use of the hand-held scanners
  • Full knowledge of all ticket types
  • Maintains proper radio communications and use of channels

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18-years-old

  • Must be able to work standing up for extended periods of time and withstand extreme weather conditions.

Our lift/tubing attendants are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our chair lifts as well as providing friendly and helpful service to our guests.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist guests with general resort information
  • Knowledge of loading and unloading procedures for all lifts
  • Assist guests as they load and unload chairlift
  • Direct guests to the proper position for loading the lift
  • Understands the functions and use of the hand-held scanners
  • Full knowledge of all ticket types
  • Maintains proper radio communications and use of channels

Job Qualifications

Our ticketing/cashiers/advance reservations must be team players ready to greet and provide an exceptional customer experience to our guests on a consistent basis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Professionally greet guests as they enter the building and approach your station
  • Fulfill needs of guests by suggesting to them the best packages that will suite their needs
  • Be able to answer the phones in a professional and courteous manner to take advance lesson reservations
  • Must be flexible and ready to work at any position
  • Must be knowledgeable of all the resort services
  • Assist in trash removal and cleaning of facilities
  • Perform other duties as requested by Manager
  • Participate in SiriusWare POS Training

Job Responsibilities

Our rental ambassadors must be ready to meet and greet our guests as they enter our rental facilities. You will be the first point of contact for our guests and must provide them with exceptional customer service at all times.

Our Rental Shop Technicians must be team players ready to greet and provide an exceptional customer experience to our guests on a consistent ongoing basis.

  • Professionally greet guests as they enter the building and approach your station
  • Fulfill needs of guests by suggesting to them the best packages that will suit their needs
  • Become familiar with the Rental Shop Policies and Procedures
  • Participate in SiriusWare POS Training
  • Participate in binding training to become educated on binding adjustment and mounting
  • Binding Manufacture Certification for Rental Fleet Manufacturers
  • Participate in Equipment Training to become educated in our rental equipment
  • Learn basic customer service skills and communication skills

Job Responsibilities

Our parking lot attendants greet our guests upon their arrival at the resort and aid in creating a positive, memorable experience through guest interaction, including but not limited to answering questions and providing directions such as facility information.

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16-years-old
  • Monitors parking lot for unsafe conditions, suspicious activity, operational issues and notifies management immediately
  • Flexible schedule weekends, holidays, and vacation weeks required
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication and people skills
  • Direct and control traffic to ensure efficient traffic flow on resort property

A person qualified to be a Ticketing Lead at Powder Ridge Mountain Park and Resort will be outgoing, friendly, courteous and respectful. They will be required to be knowledgeable about all of the products and services that we offer, including price, durations, availability, benefits and features of each offering. Said applicant must be able to speak fluidly, clearly and confidently on the telephone and must have strong computer skills. They will be a leader and be able to supervise several employees per shift in a very efficient manner. This applicant must be trustworthy, responsible and capable of settling and balancing cash drawers.

  • All standard ticketing duties,
  • All standard reservation duties,
  • Close POS machines and settle cash drawers,
  • Print needed report for monitoring lessons, tubing and financial reports,
  • Setup for, and clean up after tubing parties,
  • Prepare tickets and passes for school groups,

  • Making sure that rentals has ticketing agents,
