Powder Ridge Ski Club, Pre-K, Rippers and Little Rippers
Build confidence and develop strong fundamentals in a supportive, progression-focused environment. The Ridge Rippers program introduces young skiers and snowboarders to racing or freestyle through structured drills designed to develop skills safely and effectively.
Athletes focus on core techniques that create a solid foundation for future progression. Coaches emphasize skill development, control, and confidence, helping participants apply what they learn as terrain and challenges gradually increase.
Open to skiers and snowboarders ages 6 and up (with coach approval), this program provides a fun and encouraging introduction to competitive pathways in both racing and freestyle disciplines.

At our Sculpted Learning Center, we’ve created the perfect environment for young skiers and snowboarders to take their first steps on the snow. Designed specifically for children aged 4-6, our Jackalope Group Lessons focus on building confidence and having fun while learning.
The dedicated Magic Carpet area provides a comfortable space for beginners, featuring the Jackalope Slope, a gentle hill with a 7° pitch—ideal for young ones to learn and enjoy sliding from the very start. Whether skiing or snowboarding, your little ones will be in great hands as they develop skills, balance, and a love for the snow!
Powder Ridge has a Freestyle Program for every athlete, whether you are sliding your first box or launching the big air.
Build strong, confident, and stylish riders across every part of the mountain. The Powder Ridge Freestyle Team develops well-rounded athletes through a mix of terrain park training, all-mountain riding, and mountain safety education.
Athletes focus on solid fundamentals through structured drills, then apply those skills on park features with individualized coaching. The program emphasizes practicing and reinforcing existing skills so they carry over to more challenging terrain, while gradually introducing new techniques to expand each rider’s range.
Freestyle Team riders have the opportunity to compete in Powder Ridge events as well as USASA competitions, including Slopestyle, Boardercross, and Big Air. Coaches attend select competitions to support athletes and help guide them through the event process.
