Powder Ridge’s pump track and progression skills area were built by DirtSculpt LLC — a world-class bike park design firm behind courses featured at the X-Games, Red Bull events and the Dew Tour.
That pedigree shows in every berm, roller, and rhythm section. The result is a purpose-built space where riders of every level can develop real skills in a fun, low-pressure environment.
Located at the base of the mountain near the bike lift, the area is easy to access and impossible to leave. A flowing concrete snake trail feeds directly into the pump track loop, giving riders a natural entry point before they start building speed and momentum.
The surrounding 50,000-square-foot skills park adds berms, rollers, a rock garden, and progressive features, while three graded jump lines — small, medium, and large — let riders step up at their own pace.
The Key Advantages of a Pump Track for kids
- Promotes early skill development, balance, and coordination – Riding over rollers and gentle slopes helps children build control, confidence, and coordination from an early age.
- Beginner-friendly and safe – Lower rollers and berms, gentle turns, and a compact layout make the track ideal for young children on balance bikes.
- A gateway to lifelong cycling and activity – By building confidence early, a kids’ pump track introduces children to wheeled sports and outdoor movement, encouraging healthy habits.
Whether you’re a first-timer learning to pump through a berm or a seasoned rider dialing in technique between lift laps, this is your spot. Bikes with training wheels are not allowed.
Bike rentals including balance bikes are available for rental. Lessons packages are available for all experience levels.
